Shira holds her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Yeshiva University Wurzweiler School of Social Work. She has worked in various therapeutic settings over the past six years. She works with teenagers and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, life changes and low self-esteem.
She believes that positive change is attainable at any point in life’s journey. Together, you will embark on a collaborative process to achieve your mental health goals. Guided by compassion and respect, her aim is to facilitate a transformative experience that empowers you to navigate challenges, overcome obstacles, and discover your inner resilience. She is a dedicated and empathetic therapist who is deeply committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for your personal growth and mental well-being.
Shira’s therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices such as Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).These approaches are not just tools; they are pathways to self-discovery and transformation. By integrating mindfulness techniques, cognitive reframing, and practical skills that allows for positive change.
