Talking Works provides services for young adults and adults of all ages; we assist with depression, anxiety, trauma and other emotional problems. We help with child behavior problems and provide support for parents. We work with children from age three, and with adolescents and teens. We assist with parenting issues for parents of young children. We offer professional help and support for LGBTQ issues, recovery from substance abuse and addictions, impulse control problems and many other problems. Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

This modality focuses on unconscious processes and conflicts and how they affect you on daily basis, this treatment helps you understand your past and how this relates to your current feelings and behavior.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

This method focuses on decreasing emotional dysregulation, self-harm, suicidal thoughts. We teach you coping methods for improved emotional regulation and greater ability to manage emotional crises.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)

This treatment focuses on your thinking patterns and how they contribute to your emotions and behavior. We also teach you relaxation exercises to help your body reduce stress and tension.

Mindfulness and Acceptance Therapies

These methods help with learning and developing emotional awareness, teach the power of being present in the moment and having choices for responding to upsetting situations.
