Rachel earned her Master’s Degree from Rutgers University, and her bachelor’s degree from Temple University. Rachel has experience working with children, teens, and adult individuals. She has worked with people with serious mental illnesses, adults and children with trauma, children in foster care, and children with autistic features. In her work with adults, Rachel utilizes several modalities, including CBT and mindfulness. With children, she offers play therapy and skills training for emotional coping.

Rachel has a special interest in working with people in the LGBTQ community, and she identifies herself as LGBT. Rachel aims to get to know her clients as the whole person, she believes that this is the key to being successful in working with clients in psychotherapy. Rachel practices the humanistic approach to therapy and she works to make the person feel comfortable with her and trust her to speak to her about anything. Rachel was a successful athlete in the past, she played lacrosse in Division 1 for her college team.
