Olga Sedykh
MHC-LP
Olga is a bilingual psychotherapist who works with adults and couples. She holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and brings a strong background in healthcare and patient care to her work. Her years of experience working closely with patients and healthcare professionals have given her a unique understanding of the connection between emotional well-being, physical health, relationships, and life circumstances.
Olga takes an integrative, person-centered approach to therapy, drawing from psychodynamic, existential, cognitive-behavioral, and other evidence-based approaches. She believes therapy should be tailored to each individual and that understanding the person behind the problem is an important part of the therapeutic process. Together, she and her clients explore patterns of thoughts, emotions, and relationships while developing greater self-awareness and practical tools for meaningful change.
Olga works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, life transitions, and the effects of difficult or traumatic experiences. She also works with couples who are looking to improve communication, better understand recurring relationship patterns, and develop healthier and more fulfilling ways of connecting.
Her therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, interactive, and collaborative. Olga strives to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and understood while also gaining insight, developing new perspectives, and working toward positive change.
As a bilingual therapist, Olga provides therapy in both English and Russian. She values the cultural backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives that each client brings to therapy and incorporates these factors into her work when appropriate.
