Lesya Hardy

Lesya Hardy is a Licensed Psychoanalyst and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor and  has earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brooklyn College and her Master of Arts in Psychology from The City College of New York. She  is a psychoanalytic who has trained at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis in New York. Lesya also provides psychotherapy to Russian-speaking clients and has extensive experience serving the Russian-speaking community. She is available for online sessions.

She has extensive experience helping adults navigate anxiety, addiction, emotional difficulties, and challenges in relationships.She provides a thoughtful, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore the underlying experiences and patterns that may be affecting their lives.Lesya has worked with a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with substance use, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and the lasting effects of difficult or traumatic experiences. Her clinical work focuses not only on alleviating current symptoms, but also on understanding the deeper emotional patterns that can contribute to ongoing difficulties.

Lesya’s approach is grounded in extensive psychoanalytic training and clinical experience in private practice, psychoanalytic settings, substance-use treatment programs, and group practices. She works with clients experiencing deep-seated emotional conflicts, developmental and relational trauma, anxiety, substance misuse, and addiction, helping them develop a deeper understanding of the patterns and experiences that may be affecting their emotional well-being and relationships.
