Kaesha received her MS in Mental Health Counseling from Touro College. In addition, she supplemented her education at NYU Institute of Psychoanalytic Education. In the past three years, she participated in the research on schizophrenia at a NYS psychiatric facility.
At LG Psych, she has been leading a psychosocial club, where she provides psychoeducation and activities to improve the members’ social and independent living skills. She works with clients of all ages, from children to the elderly, and also with couples and families. Frequent techniques she uses include CBT, CT, motivational enhancement therapy, meditation, and giving homework. Kaesha’s clients benefit from her compassion, encouragement, her positive outlook and her sense of humor.
