Jessica holds Masters Degrees in School counseling and in Mental Health Counseling. She has experience working with a variety of populations including children, teens, young adults, adults, and families. She specializes in working with neurodivergent/neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Disorder.
She is skilled at supporting families and helping parents navigate the Special Education system. She is an LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity-affirming therapist who applies her knowledge to helping clients access and draw from their inner strengths and their fundamental capacity to heal and grow.
Jessica also has experience in working with obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief, trauma, depression (MDD), severe anxiety (GAD), child Separation Anxiety Disorder, and PTSD. She believes that each client is capable of achieving a sense of wellbeing and worthiness. She practices integrative therapy drawing from multiple modalities in order to tailor therapy to clients’ values and needs. Some of the modalities included in her practice are CBT, DBT, play therapy, inner child and trauma work, art-based therapy, narrative therapy, and sensory-neurodevelopmental approaches.
Jessica’s priorities with clients include providing a safe and supportive atmosphere with genuine positive regard and respect for the difficult first steps clients are taking in their mental health journey.
