Jemila, LMSW is a Licensed Social Worker with extensive experience supporting individuals facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, low self-confidence, decision-making struggles, and career-related concerns. She is passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges by teaching practical, evidence-based skills that foster growth, healing, and resilience.
Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Crisis Intervention, and Restorative Justice Practices, Jemila brings a compassionate and strengths-based approach to her work. She has provided services to children, adolescents, and adults across diverse settings, and is deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive space for each client.
She also has a special interest in supporting educators, particularly those working in charter and private school settings, by offering a space where teachers can decompress, process their experiences, and strengthen their emotional well-being outside the classroom.
