Carly Turer graduated with her Master’s degree from the NYU Silver School of Social Work, and received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Child Development from Tufts University. Carly has clinical experience providing counseling to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. She has worked with children, couples and families. Carly specializes in the treatment of anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD. She has experience working with children with ASD and executive functioning disorders. She helps her clients navigate peer relationships, romantic relationships, parenting, marital conflict, and life and career transitions.

Carly is an empathetic practitioner who believes in creating a supportive and safe space for clients to work towards meaningful change. Her flexible approach integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities, including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and relational therapy. She tailors treatment to each individual’s unique strengths, challenges and goals, and helps her clients to better understand themselves and recognize patterns of behavior. Carly believes that establishing a trusting and collaborative relationship with her clients is essential for successful therapy and she is dedicated to helping her clients feel their best.
