Ana Jokhadze

MHC-LP

Ana is a bilingual mental health counselor who earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from CUNY Hunter College. She takes an integrative, client-centered approach to therapy, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.

Ana has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating a variety of challenges, including anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, and life transitions. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Ana values cultural sensitivity and believes in meeting each client where they are. She works at the client’s pace, helping them develop greater self-awareness, explore patterns that may be affecting their emotional well-being, and build healthier ways of coping and connecting with others.

Her therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. Ana is committed to helping clients feel more confident in themselves while working toward healing, personal growth, and lasting emotional well-being.

As a bilingual therapist, Ana provides therapy in both English and Georgian. She welcomes the cultural experiences and perspectives that each client brings to therapy and strives to incorporate these strengths into the therapeutic process.
