Aleicia is a  pre-licensed Master Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) who is working toward licensure. She completed her master’s from Long Island University in Suffolk County, New York. She has extensive experience working in various non-profit agencies, community mental health, and residential substance abuse treatment center, gaining diverse human service experience.

She is a therapist who focuses on working with adults and couples. She helps her clients to process their thoughts and emotions and set achievable goals. Her interventions empower individuals by recognizing and utilizing their strengths to create positive changes. Her goal is to help her clients experience the satisfaction of their accomplishments.

Aleicia is a dedicated professional who strives to find long-lasting solutions and support an individual’s objectives. She is committed to guiding individuals through any challenges they may encounter. She believes in a collaborative approach and utilizes her knowledge of therapeutic models such as DBT, CBT, and Emotional Focus Therapy (EFT) to help her clients. She has a specialization in assisting individuals with various issues, including depression, anxiety, parenting, and relationships. She identifies patterns and triggers that contribute to personal and relational distress and works towards resolving them.
Aleicia recognizes that building a strong therapeutic bond is crucial for attaining positive results in therapy. She endeavors to strengthen that connection by creating a secure and welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable sharing and actively participating in the healing process.
