Rocio Ruiz

Rocio is a Mental Health Counselor and a native of Lima, Peru. She has a Master’s Degree in Psychology and worked as a psychologist in Lima. After a few years as a psychologist in a mental health clinic, she became the clinic director. She also managed the social services department in her clinic. She is a good diagnostician and she has expertise in CBT and psychodymic psychotherapies. Overall, she has developed a multi-disciplinary approach that also includes Gestalt and Existential therapy methods.

In New York, Rocio earned a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. Lately, she gained a lot of experience in Grief Counseling and Family Counseling. She has assisted numerous clients and families who were going through very difficult situations in their lives. She offers her clients a deeply empathic approach with promotes deep understanding and healing.

Rocio is bilingual and fluent in Spanish.
