Tracey Holmes had an interest in working with people since college. In pursuing this interest, she first obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and worked with people who received services in connection with their criminal justice cases.  Pursuing her interest in becoming a psychotherapist, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University, NY. She became a licensed Master’s social worker in 2006, and she has gained a lot of deep and diverse experience in clinical work since then.

Tracey likes to be the “Change Agent” for her clients, and she works hard to help her clients begin to make a difference in their lives. She has experience in working with adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples. She has experience with individual diversities, including social, economic, cultural, and gender and sexual orientations. Tracey utilizes different therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, to be able to assist her clients in learning how to cope with life on life’s terms, reducing blame, negativity, and stress, and be able to reach their goals.
