Sarah Callahan

Sarah graduated with her Master’s degree from Columbia University. In her clinical studies, she concentrated on work with children, youth and families.  She has experience working with children and families affected by trauma and emotional disorders. She is also experienced with the LGBTQ+ community of all ages. Sarah has helped a lot of children and young adults to overcome the impact of trauma and achieve well-being, confidence and high self-esteem.

 

Sarah works with young adults, families, children and adolescents. She helps clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, ADHD, history of trauma and other mood disorders. She uses a diversity of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).  Sarah adapts her knowledge, experience and training to each of her individual clients, as she believes that each client is unique, and that working with client’s uniqueness and individuality helps achieve improvement, growth and success.
