Jody holds her MSW degree from New York University and her Bachelor’s degree from Brown University. In addition, she has a Masters in Clinical Psychology from the Derner Institute at Adelphi University. Jody has a long-term experience doing clinical work. She has worked in various setting and with clients with various problems, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, couples and relationships.
Jody uses an eclectic psychodynamic approach that she tailors to fit each of her individual client’s needs. With this in mind, she seeks to assist clients with developing
insight and deeper understanding of their personality. She creates a warm and supportive atmosphere in which she works with her clients on promoting their personal growth and increasing their self-esteem. Jody specialized in the treatment of anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders and trauma and she integrates psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral methods.
